AUSTIN, Texas – No. 3 Baseball blasted No. 11 Texas Tech, 11-3, in the series finale at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Sunday afternoon. Pete Hansen earned the win in relief and Douglas Hodo III hit a grand slam as Texas improved to 35-11 on the season and 13-5 in Big 12 Conference play.
Hansen (5-1) was phenomenal on the hill, earning his fifth win of the season after entering in the first inning with the bases loaded, one run in and nobody out. The left-hander allowed one run in 7 2/3 innings, surrendering seven hits and striking out seven batters.
