AUSTIN, Texas — Star Texas Longhorns guard Tre Johnson scored a game-high 24 points, including 18 in the second half as the Horns tried to recover from an 18-point halftime deficit before falling 76-65 to the No. 25 UConn Huskies at the Moody Center on Sunday.
Johnson was electric coming out of halftime, going 6-of-9 shooting, including 3-of-5 shooting from three, and made plays for his teammates, too, with four assists, bouncing back from a first-half performance that saw the 6’6, 190-pounder score six points while missing all three of his three-point attempts.
