AUSTIN, Texas – Sophomore guard Tevin Mack scored a team-high 14 points in his season debut to help lead the Texas Longhorns to an 80-59 win over Louisiana-Monroe on Monday night at the Frank Erwin Center in the opening round of the Legends Classic. Texas was efficient on the offensive side of the ball, hitting 50-percent of its shots from the floor (30-of-60). Senior guard Kendal Yancy and freshman guard Andrew Jones also scored in double-figures for the Longhorns with 12 points each. Kerwin Roach, Jr. also reached double figures with 11 points.
