BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Kerwin Roach Jr. scored a team-high 16 points and Jarrett Allen added 15 points and six rebounds at the Legends Classic Championship Round Consolation Game, but the No. 22/21 Longhorns were stifled by the Colorado Buffaloes on Tuesday afternoon, falling 68-54. The Longhorns shot 45-percent from inside the arc (18-of-40), but the team's success from the three-point line was limited, hitting only 17.6-percent of its shots from beyond the arc (3-of-17).
Colorado (4-1) was led by a trio of players scoring in double-digits, with Derrick White leading the Buffaloes with 16 points and George King recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
