AUSTIN, Texas – No. 21 Texas Baseball took down Kansas State, 8-2, to win the series on Sunday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (23-10, 6-3) scored seven of their eight runs with two outs and outhit the Wildcats 12-6 to bounce back from Saturday's loss.
Dylan Campbell went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and also made an outstanding catch in right field. Guillemette was 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in the first inning, while Porter Brown was 2-for-4 with a double and a homer. Jared Thomas had a great day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and one RBI.
