No. 21 Baseball rallies for 6-5 win over K-State

AUSTIN, Texas – No. 21 Texas Baseball scored five runs in the eighth inning to overcome a 5-1 deficit and beat Kansas State 6-5 to open the series on Friday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

The Longhorns (22-9, 5-2) trailed 5-1 going into the bottom of the eighth and were held to just five hits before starting the inning with five-consecutive hits. Eric Kennedy got it all started with a bunt single before three-straight doubles by Dylan Campbell, Peyton Powell and Garret Guillemette and a triple by Porter Brown.
