STILLWATER, Okla. – No. 21 Texas Baseball opened the series at No. 17 Oklahoma State with a 5-3 win on Friday night at O'Brate Stadium.
The Longhorns (20-7, 4-0) extended their winning streak to 16 games with the win and remained unbeaten in Big 12 Conference play. The winning streak is tied for the 16th-longest in program history and is the longest since the team won 16-straight in 2021.
Lucas Gordon had his longest outing of the season, pitching seven innings and allowing just three runs on seven hits. He struck out four batters and only had one walk to pick up the win and improve to 3-0 on the season.
