AUSTIN, Texas – No. 21 Texas Baseball defeated Air Force, 7-1, after leading the entire game in a Tuesday matinee at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (21-9, 4-2) hit three home runs and had nine total hits, while holding the Falcons to just one run on four hits.
Ace Whitehead picked up the win and went four full innings, a new career high. He allowed four hits and one run, with one strikeout. Kobe Minchey made his pitching debut in relief with two groundouts and a flyout.
Rylan Galvan went 2-for-3 with a triple, a home run and two RBI.
