AUSTIN, Texas — Texas won their sixth straight conference game in an 80-71 victory over Texas Tech on Wednesday at Moody Center.
Shaylee Gonzales led Texas with 25 points and Deyona Gaston scored 16. Rori Harmon tallied 15 points and 10 assists, for her fourth double-double of the season.
Texas Tech led 6-5 at the 4:25 mark of the first quarter, but the Longhorns used a 21-4 run to go up 26-10 at the 7:21 mark of the second quarter. Over that run Texas held the Red Raiders scoreless for four minutes from 2:07 in the first quarter to 8:07 in the second period.
