No. 20 Oklahoma State comes back to secure Big 12 Championship game berth vs. No. 7 Texas

Down 24-6 at halftime, the No. 20 Oklahoma State Cowboys rallied against the BYU Cougars in Stillwater on Saturday for a 40-34 double-overtime win to advance to the Big 12 Championship game next Saturday against the No. 7 Texas Longhorns at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

A year ago, Texas watched and waited, hoping that Kansas would upset Kansas State in Manhattan for the Longhorns to secure a spot in the Big 12 Championship game. Instead, the Wildcats outscored the Jayhawks 17-6 in the fourth quarter of a convincing 47-27 win.

On Saturday, it was No. 13 Oklahoma without control of their destiny, watching and waiting as Oklahoma State came to life in the second half as star running back Ollie Gordon scored three touchdowns after halftime and the final two touchdowns in overtime before a forced fumble and recovery closed out the comeback over BYU.
