MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – No. 2 Texas Women's Swimming & Diving earned four titles on day two of the Big 12 Conference Championship at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park on Wednesday. The Longhorns have won all six events held through the first two days of competition.
Freshman Erin Gemmell started the finals session with a tight victory in the 500 free, out-touching teammate Erica Sullivan with a career-best swim of 4:40.09 to Sullivan's 4:40.15. It marked the first career conference title for Gemmell.
Kelly Pash followed by winning her fifth-straight title in the 200 IM, clocking 1:53.
