LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 2 Texas Volleyball swept Texas Tech on Friday night (25-19, 25-18, 25-19) to improve to 19-2, 9-1 on the season.
Senior Amy Neal led the Longhorns with 13 kills, also posting eight digs in the match. Neal has led Texas in kills in 15 of the 21 matches so far this season.
Junior Paulina Prieto Cerame also finished with double-digit kills with 12, hitting .385. Prieto Cerame has eight matches with double-digit kills this season, five of them with a hitting percentage of .350 or better.
Junior Chiaka Ogbogu posted nine kills on 12 attempts with only one error to finish with a team-high .
