The delayed decision by Houston Lamar cornerback Anthony Cook will finally come at some point “within the next two weeks,” Cook told Mike Craven of the Austin American-Statesman.
Originally set to decide on October 30, the 6’0, 168-pounder pushed his commitment date back in order to further consider his three finalists — the LSU Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and LSU Tigers — but plans to enroll early and ink with the school of his choice on the first National Signing Day in December.
Cook has long wanted to assess the on-field results of each program and that isn’t particularly good news for Texas after a season that has seen the ‘Horns struggle to win close games against quality opponents following the embarrassing loss to the Terrapins to open the season.
