OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – No. 2 Texas Baseball gave up a run in the top of the ninth and dropped a 5-4 decision to Oklahoma State in the semifinals of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Championship on Saturday at Bricktown Ballpark.
The Longhorns (42-15) will turn their attention to the NCAA postseason and will learn their tournament seeding on the NCAA selection show on Monday at 11 a.m. CT.
Oklahoma State started the game with a triple and a double to grab a 1-0 lead in the first inning but starter Kolby Kubichek did well to limit the damage to just one run.
