AUSTIN, Texas – Senior Sophia Schubert and sophomore Emilee Hoffman finished 1-2 and the No. 19 University of Texas women's golf captured the 44th-annual Betsy Rawls Invitational by 15 strokes on Tuesday at the University of Texas Golf Club.
The Longhorns claimed the Betsy Rawls Invitational for the eighth time in program history and for the first time since 2011. Texas fired a two-over-par three-round total of 866 (286-282-298) to earn a 15-stroke victory over No. 11 Furman and a 16-stroke win against No. 3 Arizona State. The Longhorns defeated a tournament field that included six ranked teams.
