AUSTIN, Texas – No. 19 Texas Baseball racked up 12 runs on 15 hits and rolled to a 12-6 win over BYU on Thursday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns road a handful of solid relief outings, including 3 1/3 shutout innings from Palmer Wenzel.
Wenzel, who picked up his first win as a Longhorn, allowed just three hits and one walk, while striking out three batters. The graduate transfer senior came into the game with two runners in scoring position in the top of the fourth and got out of the jam.
Four different Longhorn hitters had double-digit RBI, led by Mike Antico's three RBI game.
