AUSTIN, Texas – No. 19 Texas Baseball pitched its second shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over No. 12 South Carolina to clinch the series. The Longhorns (10-5) will go for the series sweep over the Gamecocks on Sunday at 11 a.m.
Tristan Stevens pitched six shutout innings with five strikeouts to earn his first win of the season. He allowed just five hits and one walk in the game.
Palmer Wenzel came out of the bullpen and pitched three stellar innings to record his first save as a Longhorn.
