CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – No. 15 Texas (10-5) won two of three doubles matches to seal the doubles point and tallied three singles wins en route to a 4-0 win over Southern Mississippi Saturday in the finals of the H-E-B Tournament of Champions.
"We had a good showing today, and I thought the guys really played hard," said 16th-year UT head coach Michael Center. "A lot of guys contributed this weekend. It was a great test for us to come down here and be the top seed and get the job done.
