STILLWATER, Okla. — Seniors Timmy Allen and Andrew Jones both registered 10 points, but No. 14/16 Texas (12-3, 2-1 Big 12) dropped a 64-51 decision at Oklahoma State (8-5, 1-1 Big 12) on Saturday afternoon at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Allen became the fifth active NCAA Division I player to reach 1,500 career points, 600 career rebounds and 300 career assists.
Allen joined Grant Golden (Richmond), Chandler Jacobs (Colorado State), Dimitrius Underwood (College of Charleston) and Eli Scott (Loyola Marymount) as the only active Division I players to reach the statistical milestone. Allen now owns career totals of 1,501 points, 637 rebounds and 301 assists.
