LAWRENCE, Kansas -- The Texas Longhorns (19-5, 9-3 Big 12) defeated the Kansas Jayhawks (12-10, 2-9 Big 12) 91-73 on Saturday night at Allen Fieldhouse.
Texas was led in points by junior Joyner Holmes, who scored 22 points, a new career high. The forward also recorded six rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes of action. Freshman forward Charli Collier also had an impressive outing over 17 minutes of play, scoring 14 points and tallying six assists and two steals.
Texas utilized the new lineup of Sug Sutton, Danni Williams, Destiny Littleton, Joyner Holmes and Jatarie White against the Jayhawks.
