If there is one thing we have learned about Texas Longhorns baseball this season, it’s the fact that they know how to respond after crushing, ugly losses.
They did just that on Saturday afternoon at UFCU Disch-Falk Field for what feels like the 100th time this season, as the Longhorns outscored the Wildcats 10-2 just a day after dropping a game that they had no business losing.
Blair Henley was impressive once again tossing five complete innings before allowing a single run. Of course, it helps when your offense gives you a seven run lead just two innings into the game but hey, it was great seeing Henley run with it and attack the zone and go right after hitters with his fastball that consistently sat at 94 MPH.
