Sophomore Bentley Cotton carded a four-under-par 68 to lead the Longhorns on the opening round at the University of New Mexico Championship Course.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The No. 13 Texas Women's Golf team shot a one-under-par 287 on Monday and is in second place after the opening round of the NCAA Albuquerque Regional at the UNM Championship Course. Three Longhorns are currently among the top-20 individuals, led by sophomore Bentley Cotton who shot a team-best four-under-par 68 and is tied for second. Graduate Brigitte Thibault is tied for 13th after posting an even-par round of 72, while senior Sara Kouskova is tied for 17th at one-over-par 73.
