After enjoying an unexpected bye in the Big 12 Tournament semifinals after the Kansas Jayhawks withdrew due to a positive COVID-19 test, the No. 13 Texas Longhorns are set to square off with the No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys for the Big 12 Tournament title.
The Horns and Pokes split the season series, with Texas topping Okie State at home, 77-74, before the Cowboys got revenge at home in double overtime, 75-67. If Texas wins this time around, it will mark the program’s first ever Big 12 Tournament title after previously finishing as a runner-up six times.
