NORMAN, Okla. -- The Texas Longhorns (18-4, 8-2 Big 12) defeated the Oklahoma Sooners (5-15, 1-8 Big 12) 76-67 on Saturday afternoon at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma. The win concludes the season sweep of the Sooners, including a 73-63 victory in Austin on January 9th. Texas has now won the last four meetings and leads the all-time series, 33-25.
In the opening minutes of the first quarter, Texas went on a 7-0 mini run, which quickly put the Longhorns up 11-2 over the Oklahoma Sooners. Sophomore Destiny Littleton's three-point basket at 3:24 brought the score to 18-6, the Longhorn's largest lead of the quarter at 12 points.
