Amidst a dust storm that descended on Central Texas Tuesday evening, the No. 12 Texas Longhorns bombed away through a hazy night, hitting five home runs in a 15-5 victory over the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders at UFCU Disch-Falk Field to open a five-game homestand.
Junior shortstop Jalin Flores went 3-for-4 with two doubles, junior catcher Rylan Galvan had four RBI thanks to the first multi-homer game of his career, and sophomore third baseman Casey Borba made his case for more playing time with a 2-for-4 night that featured a double and a home run.
