No. 12 Texas Baseball comes up short against No. 9 Texas A&M

AUSTIN, Texas – Michael McCann hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning, but No. 12 Texas Baseball was unable to complete the comeback in a 9-6 loss to No. 9 Texas A&M Tuesday at Disch-Falk Field.

The Longhorns (20-12, 3-3 Big 12) trailed 7-1 before cutting the Aggies lead all the way to 7-6 in the eighth inning. Texas A&M gave itself some breathing room with two runs in the top of the ninth and held on for the win.

McCann finished the game 1-for-4 with three RBI and his first homer of the season.
