Due to continuing inclement weather that has caused millions of Texans to lose power, the No. 13 Texas Longhorns will not travel to Norman to face the No. 9 Oklahoma Sooners on Thursday, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the game was moved to Wednesday and then to Thursday before it was finally postponed by the league. A rescheduled game against Iowa State that was set for Thursday was again postponed earlier in the week.
The Big 12 will release further information when available.
The multiple winter storms that have hit Texas in recent days have provided another setback for a Longhorns program that has had two games canceled and four other games postponed earlier this season, including the second attempt to play Iowa State in Austin.
