MANHATTAN, Kan. — Aliyah Matharu registered a game-high 16 points Wednesday evening as No. 11/12 Texas collected a 62-51 road victory over Kansas State inside the Wildcats' Bramlage Coliseum.
With the win, the Longhorns run their win streak to five game and improve to 20-6 overall on the season with a 10-5 mark in Big 12 competition and sweep the regular season series with K-State. The Wildcats slip to 18-9, 8-7 with the loss.
Texas got off to a fast start as they built up a 20-9 lead in the opening frame. An even 14-14 second quarter sent the Horns to the locker room with a 34-23 lead.
