SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Texas women's basketball point guard Rori Harmon has been named 1 of 5 finalists for the Nancy Lieberman Award, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced today.
Now in its 26th year, the Nancy Lieberman Award recognizes the top point guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. To be considered for this prestigious award, candidates must exhibit the floor leadership, playmaking, and ball-handling skills of Class of 1996 Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lieberman.
After playing 12 games in the 2023-24 season due to a season-ending knee injury, Harmon is showing why is one of the best players in the country.
