GREENVILLE, S.C. — Madison Booker recorded her ninth career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Taylor Jones and Rori Harmon combined for 28 points, but the Texas women's basketball team fell, 64-45 in the SEC Tournament championship game on Sunday.
During the first period, Texas trailed South Carolina, but Taylor Jones kept the Longhorns in the game by scoring four points in the post, bringing Texas to 12-10 heading into the second period.
Going into halftime, South Carolina led Texas 33-16. Harmon led the Longhorns in scoring with six points, while post-players Kyla Oldacre and Taylor Jones combined for eight.
