LUBBOCK, TEXAS — The Texas defense forced 25 turnovers and limited Texas Tech to 33 percent shooting in a 74-47 victory over the Red Raiders on Wednesday.
Aaliyah Moore and DeYona Gaston both recorded double-doubles in the game. Moore scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Gaston put in 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Madison Booker scored 18 points and recorded six rebounds and six assists.
Aaliyah Moore got an offensive rebound and putback and was fouled. She completed the three-point play to put Texas up 13-6 and cap off a 7-0 run.
