AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 10/1 Texas track and field program earned three Big 12 Outdoor end of year honors as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon.
Julien Alfred was named the women's Big 12 Performer of the Year for the second-straight season. The 11-time All American remains undefeated in the 100-meter this season, including the fastest all-conditions time in NCAA history at 10.72 seconds set at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational. Alfred also leads the NCAA in the 200-meter with a world-leading time of 21.91 and has been a part of two 4x100 collegiate records this season, the latest coming at 41.
