WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The No. 10 Texas Women's Golf team is headed back to the NCAA Championship as they finished runner-up at the NCAA Bermuda Run Regional on Wednesday. The top five teams in the regional advanced to the NCAA Championship.
The Longhorns will be making their 32nd NCAA Championship appearance and their eighth straight. Texas is one of four programs along with Southern California, Florida State and Stanford who have qualified for the NCAA Championship in each of the last eight seasons.
The Longhorns finished the tournament with rounds of 285-279-280=844. The 844 score is the Longhorns sixth best 54-hole tournament score in program history and best score in program history for an NCAA event.
