AUSTIN, Texas – No. 8 Oklahoma State scored two runs in the ninth to beat No. 10 Texas Baseball, 8-6, on Friday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns (31-14, 9-7) had six runs on 12 hits, with three home runs.
Skyler Messinger hit two homers in the game and finished 2-for-4 with two RBI. Ivan Melendez was 4-for-5 with a solo home run, and Murphy Stehly went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Pete Hansen started for the Longhorns, pitching seven innings but allowing six runs on nine hits.
