MINNEAPOLIS – No. 1 Texas Men's and Women's Swimming teams combined for five victories on a record-setting night at the Minnesota Invitational at the Jean K Freeman Aquatics Center on Friday.
Freshman Lydia Jacoby swam 57.54 in the 100-yard breaststroke, establishing a new national age group record as the fastest 17-18 year old American ever in the event, besting Kaitlyn Dobler's 2021 mark of 57.71.
The women's squad capped the night winning the 400 medley relay in record-breaking fashion, as Olivia Bray, Anna Elendt, Emma Sticklen and Kelly Pash combined for a time of 3:25.
