STANFORD, Calif – No. 1 Texas Volleyball smashed No. 12 Stanford, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20, in front of a crowd of 4,059 at Maples Pavilion on Sunday afternoon.
The Longhorns (4-0) picked up their first road win over Stanford in program history after being 0-7 all-time at Maples Pavilion.
Texas hit .465 as a team and held the Cardinal to a .192 hitting percentage as a team. Saige Ka'aha'aina-Torres had a great match in setting the Longhorns attack, with 43 assists, 11 digs, two kills and one block.
Logan Eggleston finished with a team-high 16 kills and added seven digs and three blocks.
