After covering the spread in all three games so far this season, the No. 1 Texas Longhorns are favored by 45.5 points against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks for next Saturday’s game at 7:00 p.m. Central on ESPN+, according to FanDuel, a line released late on Sunday, perhaps because of the abdominal injury sustained by starting quarterback Quinn Ewers.
The two programs have met twice previously in 2009, a season-opening 59-20 win by the Longhorns, and in 2022, also in the season opener, a 52-10 win by Texas.
The line is higher than the margin of either of those games as the Warhawks travel to Austin with a 2-0 record and ranked as the No.
