AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 1 Texas men's swimming and diving program won seven events on the first night of the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown in front of a record-setting crowd of 2,331 fans.
The Texas 'A' team (Will Modglin, Nate Germonprez, Hubert Kos, Chris Guiliano) opened the morning session placing second in the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:22.89. This time met the 'A' cut qualifying standard for the 2025 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships. The Texas 'B' team (Kyle Peck, Will Scholtz, Ryan Branon, Camden Taylor) followed behind in fourth place with a time of 1:25.
