Four days ago, Dodge City CC linebacker Lakia Henry decided to end his longtime commitment to the Tennessee Volunteers by re-opening his recruitment:
The 6’0, 225-pounder originally pledged to the Volunteers in May of last year over numerous other offers, including one from the Texas Longhorns. At that time, Henry was a promising target for the Longhorns, especially with the success of former Dodge City CC product Gary Johnson at Texas.
In the immediate aftermath of Henry’s decision, he said in an interview that he’s still interested in Texas, along with schools like Arkansas, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and UCLA.
