AUSTIN, Texas – No. 1 Texas Baseball got the series win against Alabama with another shutout, 2-0, at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Saturday. The Longhorns (7-0) will go for the series sweep, with Tanner Witt on the mound facing Crimson Tide starting pitcher Grayson Hitt on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Tristan Stevens had another great outing, with six shutout innings, four strikeouts, zero walks and allowing only four hits. Over his first two starts of the season, Stevens has pitched 12 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts.
Freshman Luke Harrison pitched great in relief for the Longhorns, throwing three scoreless innings with four strikeouts.
