Nichols: How Jordan Spieth is in Masters mode; why maintaining No. 1 ranking isn't his priority

AUSTIN -- Things have changed since Jordan Spieth played Austin Country Club with his college buddies.

Entering this week's WGC Dell Match Play as world No. 1, the former Texas Longhorns golfer upgraded his housing scene to one that's more in line with his ranking.

"I'm not used to staying in a hotel in Austin," Spieth said Tuesday.
