The Longhorns only had one player invited to the NFL combine this year. Junior defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway was Texas' lone representative.
Ridgeway had a solid performance at this year's combine. The 6-foot-4, 307-pound defensive tackle from Mansfield ran a 5.02 second 40-yard dash. Ridgeway was able to get off 24 bench press reps. He recorded a 32-inch vertical jump, 113-inch broad jump, 8.28-second 3-cone drill and a 4.82-second 20-yard shuttle.
NFL.com writer Lance Zierlein wrote that "Ridgeway didn't put together as productive and flashy a junior campaign as he did a sophomore season, but that was due partially to nagging injuries.
