AUSTIN -- If there was any doubt, Chris Del Conte won his first press conference as Texas' athletic director as a natural-born salesman should.
Now he must complete the job of getting Texas back to winning games in its highest-profile sports (looking at ya, football). And raising $300 million to $500 million for a new basketball arena -- all the while juggling the demands of a ginormous department, state university politics and demanding donors and alumni
"I think the vision for the University of Texas has been set long ago," said Del Conte, officially introduced Monday after eight years at TCU.
