Jordan Spieth felt he was too far away from the leaders at the AT&T Byron Nelson tournament to make a run on Sunday.
So during a time in his career where he’s trying to break out of a rut, he decided to make a few tweaks.
While he liked how the changes affected his game, they didn’t translate to better score in the final round of the tournament. Spieth shot his highest score of the four-day event and finished at 11-under par, which tied him for 29th.
He shot 71 in the fourth round, which was good for even on a day when 15 players shot five strokes under par or better.
