Back to the Texas Longhorns Newsfeed

Most fans in country won’t get to watch Texas-Iowa State due to the Longhorn Network

The TV network that consistently comes under fire that is paired up with ESPN and represents the Texas Longhorns finally has its premier football game it waited for so long to get. The Longhorn Network originally signed a deal with ESPN back in 2011 and launched on Aug. 26 of that same year.

Each season, the Longhorn Network gets to broadcast two Texas football games. One of those games can be non-conference and the other in the Big 12. Most of the time, the game in the Big 12 aired on the Longhorn Network either comes against the Iowa State Cyclones or the Kansas Jayhawks.
