Tulsa, Okla. – Men's Tennis posted two victories in the main draws of the ITA All-American Championships, as sophomore Micah Braswell advanced in singles, and the senior Richard Ciamarra and sophomore Cleeve Harper took down the top seed in doubles.
Braswell's 6-2, 6-4 win over No. 119 Lodewijk Weststrate of USC moved him on to the Round of 32 where he will face No. 28 August Holmgren of San Diego at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Ciamarra and Braswell downed the top-seeded duo of No. 3 Trey Hilderbrand and Bogdan Pavel of UCF in a dramatic match that included a first-set tiebreaker and third-set superbreaker that both went to the Longhorns for a 7-6 (5), 3-6, 1-0 (8) win.
