PARIS, France — Rising University of Texas senior Luke Hobson and former Longhorns Carson Foster and Drew Kibler claimed silver medals for Team USA in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay final on Tuesday evening at the Paris Olympic Games inside Paris La Defense Arena. In addition, former Longhorn Caspar Corbeau of Netherlands advanced to the final of the 200-meter breaststroke.
Texas Men's Swimming increased its medal count to five at the Paris Games, as Hobson (200 free) and Foster (400 IM) had previously earned bronze medals.
During Tuesday night's 4x200 free relay final, the trio of Hobson, Foster and Kibler swam the opening three legs for Team USA as the American squad posted a time of 7:00.
