PARIS, France — Former University of Texas star Caspar Corbeau captured the bronze medal in the 200-meter breaststroke final on Wednesday evening at the Paris Olympic Games inside Paris La Defense Arena. In addition, rising junior Hubert Kos qualified for the final of the 200-meter backstroke as the event's top seed.
Texas Men's Swimming has now earned a total of six medals through the first five days of competition at the Paris Games. The trio of rising senior Luke Hobson and former Longhorns Carson Foster and Drew Kibler won silver in the 4x200 free relay on Tuesday.
