MINNEAPOLIS – Men's Swimming and Diving's finished in third at the NCAA Championships on Saturday at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatics Center. The Longhorns have finished in the top-three at each of the last nine NCAA Championships. Now in his 45th season as head coach, Eddie Reese recorded the 36th top-three national result of his career.
The Longhorns concluded the four-day national meet with 384 points, trailing national champion California (482) and runner-up Arizona State (430). Indiana (379) and NC State (373.5) rounded out the top five.
The Longhorns finals session was highlighted by a silver-medal performance in the 200 breast by Caspar Corbeau.
