Senior Doug Ghim fell to Doc Redman in extra holes on Sunday at Riviera Country Club.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Men's Golf senior Doug Ghim earned runner-up honors at the U.S. Amateur after falling to Doc Redman in 37 holes on Sunday at Riviera Country Club.
Ghim closed a week shooting 67-71 in the stroke play portion to advance to match play and defeating five opponents to play in the final round.
He earned an elected invite to the 2018 Masters, the 2018 U.S. Open, and claimed a spot on the 2017 Walker Cup Team with teammate Scottie Scheffler.
